Ibis is a French chain of economy hotels owned by the Accor Group. Founded in 1974, two new economy mega-brands - ibis Styles and ibis Budget - joined the Accor group in 2011. One of the ibis chain’s 1218 hotels can now be found in Bern, at Zieglerstrasse 66. The design hotel ibis Styles Bern City, which is situated close to the old town, offers more than 140 air-conditioned design rooms, each of which is equipped with a DUSCHOLUX shower wall.
